I’ll be the first to say I am not amazing at lining my lips. I tend to slightly over draw them to achieve that ideal Kardashian pout, but somehow it ends up looking like my dogs done it.
I’ve always worn this dark lip with very plain eyes as I see myself as a simpleton, I mean, most days I won’t even wear make up. If I’m making an effort and feeling a bit grungy I’ll get ready for the day and add this bold lip. If I’m then going to go out that evening I might then attempt a cat eye with my liquid eyeliner or a basic smokey eye. However for me, theres just something so simple yet so perfect about wearing mascara and having a bold lip maybe even matching nails that really works for me.
I’m planning on possibly doing a series of my favourite bold lips I would/have gone for, through out this month. However for this look I have just lined my lips and then filled them with MAC’s Just My Type lip pencil. Very simple, yet very bold. I have found in the past that the lip liner can wear away within the centre of my lips. When this happens I would just go in with MAC lipstick in Cyber. Two great products that work very well together and worth every penny!
