Well, it has certainly been one heck of a month, a bit of an understatement there really, but I guess I shall give myself the chance to ramble on about that in the next post. For now, I want to embrace with you a brand that is very close to my heart, Joe Browns.
After a bit of rain, there is always a bit sunshine and my sunshine happens to be a brilliant campaign I am a part of this month with Joe Browns. The, Live a Colourful Campaign. You remember Joe Browns right? I’m sure you do. I remember them as that little catalogue that would come through in the post every now and then, back when I was younger and still living at home.
You remember Joe Browns right? I’m sure you do. I remember them as that little catalogue that would come through in the post every now and then, back when I was younger and still living at home. Very nostalgic.
I would always remember my friend, this was back around the early secondary school era and she would always be prancing around in Joe Browns’ colourful dresses or tops and then there I was, very envious. I always wanted to order from their catalogue and have something a bit different and fun to wear at the weekends but instead, I rocked the hand me downs and basics from H&M. Obviously, I hope you think I’m not complaining but Joe Browns, for me, was a brand I would always lust after. There would always be several items that would catch my eye and I wanted them.
That’s why I am so grateful and honoured to be a part of Joe Browns’ Live a Colourful campaign. It’s such a great way to exhibit their recent products and remind people that there are other brands to turn to. I feel like a lot of us can get stuck in a rut where we keep shopping at the same places, hoping for the best but instead ending up looking like everyone else. I am definitely one to be placed in that category.
Yes, Joe Browns is a bit different and I’ll be honest and the first to say that not all of their stuff is for me, however, there is always a good bunch of items I seem to fall for. One of them being this Relaxed Printed Hoody. I went for this item because I am forever stealing my other halves hoody and thought I deserved something fun, printed and feminine to add to my wardrobe. The quality is definitely right up (10/10 from me, without a doubt) and I like how a print like this would normally come with outrageously obnoxious colours yet it’s beautifully muted and lets the print speak for itself. It’s very humble!
So what do you think? Did you also happen to grow up familiar with this brand? Do you like their new range? What’s your favourite piece? I want to know, so if you want to share, please do!
Again, I apologise, especially to the people who regularly check in and haven’t been seeing a lot from me recently, I will explain at some point soon. However, I hope this is something you can appreciate and maybe even get involved with too. If you have anything you’ve recently bought from the new Joe Browns collection, share it on Instagram and remember to hashtag – #JoeBrowns & #JBColourful I’m pretty keen to see how other people style their pieces. I shall also link the hoody below so you can have a better look at it.
